Sonzero Delivers “Flawless” Results for Macy’s

Directs 6-spot national “Beauty Scene” campaign conceived by Free Media.

LOS ANGELES—Top fashion and beauty director Jim Sonzero of Sonzero Films has directed a gorgeous, new campaign for Macy’s and Free Media promoting the retail giant’s national Beauty Scene event running now through October 1st. The six-spot package features some of the world’s most beautiful models in an elegantly stylized treatment promoting such prestigious brands as Clinque, Prevage-Elizabeth Arden, Clarins, Dior, Lancome and Origins. Sonzero used groundbreaking lighting techniques and engaging, upbeat performances to excite women about a variety of new beauty and skin care products.

Bi-coastal production company Stardust recently delivered a 10-spot campaign from Corona that supports their promotion to send 30 lucky fans on a trip to a top football destination. Stardust was recruited for the project via agency Pereira & O’Dell to develop a package of fast-paced, high-energy animated shorts in a contemporary hand-drawn comic style.

 

Heard City Boosts Ranks with Warzecha Hire

Following a massively successful launch marked by collaborations with M&M’s (BBDO), Progresso (Saatchi & Saatchi), and Dell (Y&R), audio post-production company Heard City welcomes mixer Eric Warzecha.

Warzecha is no stranger to high profile clients, having brought his mixing expertise to campaigns for DirecTV, Comcast, AT&T, Chobani, Garnier, and many others. His prolific career has led to multiple Cannes and Golden Pencil awards. Prior to joining Heard City, he spent 13 years at Sound Lounge, where he worked his way up from intern to mixer.

His Cannes-winning portfolio also includes still galleries for big-name brands Italian Vogue and Diesel Jeans, and directing credits for several episodes of AMC’s hits Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead, and History Channel’s yet-to-be-released Vikings.

Mel B former scary spice and Jorgie Porter have stripped off and had their boobies handled by their significant others to promote the charity CoppaFeel! in the most recent issue of Cosmopolitan UK. It's a lovely looking reminder that hands should be touching boobies on a regular basis - if only to check for any mystery lumps. But as "hold my boobs, please" shows this pose is nothing new and one might think that Maxim, Zoo, Nuts and FHM are all trying to keep us aware of breast cancer with every issue as they recreate this pose all the time. Score: meh. Ya'll just wanted to do a Janet Jackson.
