Bi-coastal production company Stardust created the 2012 AICP Sponsor Reel, which premiered during an exclusive screening at last night’s Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) Show at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

Does Greenpeace use social media better than Shell?

Last week, Greenpeace gave us "Shell Oil Disaster Video" and everyone was fooled. They even did a "making of," which you can read about here , although it would have been better to have released a making-of video for more content as people don't read that much (duh!)

Now Greenpeace is gettin' all meme and bringing us a bizarro Shell Website, called Arctic Ready, with tongue firmly planted in juvenile cheek.

Brickyard VFX collaborated with ad agency gyro on a new spot for Turn, a tech company that amplifies marketing outreach. Capturing the iconic style of “Mad Men” in its art direction, color correction and overall aesthetic, the :30 spot aired exclusively during the show’s season 5 finale on June 10.

What bots can teach us about Social Media.

A story in Technorati yesterday revealed findings that almost half of all Twitter followers are bots. That can hold conversations. And no, I don't mean yesterday's @sweden account either. I mean actual bots, as opposed to real people.

Brands use the bots to increase their followers in the same way you have to "Like," a brand on Facebook to engage with their shiny new app. It's clever. And the article makes the point that no real value comes from having a a huge follower count, especially one where half is made up of software.
