"I like you Siri, you're going places"

Siri helps Mr. Scorsese reschedule his busy day, and figure out if that's Rick via Apple’s Find my Friends app.

Mullen does catvertising work.

Mullen has decided to jump onto the catvertising* bandwagon, and now all their work on their homepage is found via kitteh-cat gifs. Aaaaaaw, kitteh!. When the epic fight between "cats" and "dogs" began at the dawn of internet-time and the advent of folksonomies, we always knew that the tag-cloud for "Cats" would surpass "Dogs". Now we can't click any given tab without running into felines. The internet is officially made of cats, not a series of tubes. Perhaps cats in tubes!

jumP-Edited Art of Shaving Takes Prizes at Cannes, CLIO

The retro-elegant Reformed Troglodyte short film, cut by jumP's Michael Saia, emerged from the award season with a Bronze CLIO and a Titanium and Integrated prize in Cannes. A reflective 4:00 piece that follows a former playboy discarding the mementoes of his hard-partying life as he prepares to propose to a woman, the film is one of three in the Art of Shaving campaign directed by The Institute's Ben Briand to celebrate the upscale shaving brand's 15th anniversary.

Badland: now PUMA jumps on the 8-bit bandwagon too

Sure sure, this is a stylistic dupliclaim only, but since that Nike ad that had the same base idea as the 2009 Adidas ad was only posted a few days ago, I had to add this now that I've seen it. I's a pixel race! Like an old-school video game! Selling sports shoes! Puma Run!

Hotspot the dig has an easily excited human. The animation / claymation is rather cute, but the script doesn't help the spot.

Today's coldest tweet: "#Aurora is trending" by celebboutique to shill dresses + update, they apologized

#Aurora is trending, clearly about our Kim K inspired #Aurora dress ;) Shop:....(link redacted), tweeted @celebboutique at 7:35 PM - 20 Jul, and people are retweeting it shocked that a brand tweeter can be that clueless. Are they though? The "Official Twitter of CelebBoutique.com" might just be using spam tactics in getting as many retweets as possible in todays link economy, callously counting on the retweets to ensure being seen by as many human eyeballs as possible. The initial response is overwhelmingly negative.

Uh Oh, Kit Kat's new mascot is Pedobear

The Age reports that Kit Kat made a big boo boo on their facebook page when they put an image of a guy in a bear suit using Kit Kat's as drumsticks announcing "Drum roll please ... Kit Kat is on Instagram". Not only was that unimaginative, the bear suit looked pretty much exactly like Pedobear.

Nestle Australia & New Zealand confirmed that it had produced the image but denied any knowledge of the paedophile-linked Pedobear.

“We produced this photo – of a real guy in a bear suit - to launch Instagram through our Facebook community,” a spokeswoman for the company said. “The picture is not Pedobear.”

Street art against Olympics

It was only a matter of time before the image of a London looter running off with the olympic ring would become commerce. The Olympics 2012 in London are well on their way, and the brand police is out in full force. The rioter we saw stealing the Olympic ring is now on T-shirts, available all throughout London in a dodgy shoppe of your choice.
