Epica Advertising Awards 2005

The 2005 Epica d'Or winners have been announced, as well as the other winners for the 2005 Epica Awards. The awards ceremony will be held at the Ritz Carlton in Istanbul on January 20, 2006.

Epica d'Or TV got down to a run-off between AMV/BBDO's "NoitulovE" for Guinness and Swedish H&M commercial featuring Karl Lagerfeld.

Epica d'Or Print was a decision between the Swedish campaign for the Stockholm Stadsmission and the Grande Reportagem Flags campaign.

Director Wayne Holloway of prodco UNCLE (who helmed the country music spoof spot for Fruit of the Loom, "You Can't Over Love Your Underwear") has teamed up with the brand again on a new TV commercial called "Holiday Lights."

Down in Belgium the animal rights activist group GAIA has gotten their anti-Foie gras campaign banned, sorta. The railway company where the ads were meant to run won't have them because they find the images "too shocking".
