Bazillion Pictures' 3D Projection Mapping Makes 'The Monument Come Alive' - And Takes Home Two Gold ADDYs & A TELLY

Union Station’s Beaux-Arts facade was transformed into a canvas for a 3D projection mapping video that was the centerpiece for the iconic Kansas City building’s centennial celebration,entitled, ‘The Monument Comes Alive.’ Bazillion Pictures created the 3D animation, visual effects and motion graphics for the project, and crafted the multitude of digital assets into a spectacle of imagery, color and light that tells the story of this architectural landmark and how it adapted and persevered through a tumultuous century.

MNSTR brings Lacoste to life

Centering around the brand theme "elegance is victory," Paris-based digital agency MNSTR created a special collector’s book called “A History of Tennis and Elegance.” Co-authored by Adrien Bosc, Editor of Desports magazine, the book comes to life with the help of your mobile phone. In addition they are also telling the story via Instagram, with the help of photographer Sam Hofman and Set Designer Andrew Stellitano. Check out this Instagram loop, directed by Romain Laurent. It was shot in L.A.

Treehouse Adds Motion Graphic Services; Hires Jeff Vick

DALLAS—Treehouse, the Dallas editorial boutique, has expanded its services through the hiring of motion graphics designer Jeff Vick and the addition of a new graphics design and production suite. The company will offer graphics both in tandem with editing and finishing, and as a standalone service.

Director Richard de Aragüés Joins Original

LOS ANGELES— Richard de Aragüés, one of the UK’s most dynamic, young commercial directors, has joined Original for exclusive representation in the United States. After beginning his career as a documentary filmmaker, Aragüés has built an impressive advertising career in Europe centering on automotive, sports and other types of action storytelling. His latest work includes a European campaign for Land Rover documenting a record-breaking crossing of the “Empty Quarter” in the Arabian Peninsula. Other credits include work for BMW, Nikon, Mercedes and Samsung.
