Integrated production company ACNE welcomes award-winning Executive Creative Producer Luis Aguiluz to their Los Angeles studio.

Aguiluz joins ACNE after a three-year run at Deutsch LA, where he quickly ascended from Digital Producer in 2011 to Senior Integrated Producer in 2012, and eventually to Executive Creative Producer in 2013.

Adventure Filmmaker Taylor Steele Signs with Bully Pictures

Taylor Steele, an American filmmaker best known for the award-winning surf documentaries Sipping Jetstream and Castles in the Sky, has joined Bully Pictures for exclusive representation for advertising projects. The director of more than 40 films as well as television spots for Corona, Aston Martin, Roxy and Pacifico, Steele has spent more than two decades traveling the globe, capturing spectacular imagery while working with the world’s best surfers, musicians and other talents.

Sarah Silverman's Equal Pay ad offends transgender community

When I posted the Equal Pay Project last week I called it, and I said "I honestly expect Sarah Silverman tarred and feathered by morning. Oooh! Next cover-photo should be that. That's kind of hot." The ad has indeed upset the transgender community so much, that National Women's Law Center now had to make a statement explaining the joke.

Ads on Snapchat? Yes, very soon.

In Vanity Fair, of all places, we find Snapchat C.E.O. Evan Spiegel teasing the idea of ads on Snapchat

Spiegel revealed that advertising would be coming to the app “soon.”


“We’re cutting through the new technology around ads to the core of it, which is telling a story,” he said. “People are going to see the first Snapchat ads soon, they’re going to be around our Stories product.”
