Royal Mail reveals Doctor Who stamps reports the BBC and the designs are little time-capsules of the shows style. Tom Baker, David Tennant and Patrick Troughton are featured on the 50th anniversary stamps. Doctor fans rejoice.

Andrew Hammond of the Royal Mail said the commemorative selection "pay tribute to the brilliant actors that have played the Doctor over the years, as well as the adversaries that helped make the show so popular".

This post brought to you by Orbital Dr Who theme and my current flashback to the 90s and I platform-boot-danced to this shit live under the clear starry night. I have lived. Like my t-shirts says, I may be old but I got to see all the cool bands.

Simon+Associates found they had no problem at all extending the name into an equally sweet and strong design.

After almost 40 years The Royal Mint decided to make a modern coin, and the job went to 26-year-old Matthew Dent.

"I found the idea that members of the public could interact with the coins the most exciting aspect of this concept. It's easy to imagine the coins pushed around a school classroom table or fumbled around with on a bar - being pieced together as a jigsaw and just having fun with them."

Each coin features part of the design and by arranging each coin in a certain way completes the design, much like a jigsaw.

Total Beverage is a super-huge, enourmous, gigantic, really really big liquor store in Westminister Colorado. Denver based Sukle Advertising & Design has created a fresh new identity for Total Beverage that is the total opposite of cluttered booze-shops. Inspired by the simplicity of European road signs and informational graphics Sukle brought order to a store large enough to contain all sorts of chaos. (Did I mention that the store is, like, big?)
