Ads with magic
Well, I finally watched the commercials. Thanks, Robblink. smile
Oh, by-the-way, to the people who created the Cingular commercial don*t use trick cards when you do the <!-- BBCode Start -->*cards from the mouth*<!-- BBCode End -->. That*s almost as lame as <!-- BBCode Start -->The Baffling Bra Trick<!-- BBCode End -->

Magicians Penn & Teller have been in ads. There have been commercials with cheesy *magic tricks*. There is the Mastercard commercial with the Harry Houdini theme. There are some ads that poke fun at magicians (Hummer). There have been some ads (Agent Provocateur lingerie) that feature genuine magic tricks.
I am looking for ads with any kind of magic theme in them.
Here*s my favorite advertising magician

Thanks. I didn*t know about that one.
Leave it to Robblink to find those hidden ad gems!
I just saw a TV ad for <!-- BBCode Start -->Cash for Life<!-- BBCode End --> Lottery that alluded to <!-- BBCode Start -->Siegfried and Roy.<!-- BBCode End --> No tiger in the ad, though. A tiger might have bordered on bad taste. The ad did have the old big box saw the person in half illusion.

He ain*t <!-- BBCode Start -->His Royal Highness the Ad Trivia King, Lord of the Ads, Prince and Great Steward of Scotch tape, Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the T-square, Knight of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the red pen, Great Master and First and Principal Knight Grand Cross of the Most Honourable Order of the Wordsmiths, Member of the Order of Advertising Merit, Knight of the Order of Mad Ave<!-- BBCode End --> for nuthin* yaknow.
He should have that on his business card. He can back it up.
I recall an ad that ran on TV, here in Canada, maybe the U.S. too, that was for a car. All I remember right now is some cheesy *magician* doing really lame camera tricked magic. Oh, and me rolling my eyes and shaking my head every time the commercial came on....
And isn*t there something with David Spade doing card flourishes that are badly faked? Springing the cards, card fans, and that sort of thing?

Of course, Clay deserves a lot of credit! I can remember commercials, but only Clay has the patience and stamina to collect them all.

Ha! Dude, I*m sooo gonna put that on his cards! yessss! It*ll have to be a HUGE card tho. wink)

Another person who helps to make this the great place that it is. Thanks, Claymore!

I would put all of it on the card. Keep it bold, but fade it, and then keep whatever else he has in the foreground. When people read his card, and ask,"What*s all this?" he can reply, "That*s just my background."

More magic here

Nicely done. Genuine basic magic and flourishes there. Magic on a video screen (computer, TV) really sucks, but whoever created the site knew some of the basics of the art.
One trick seems to be ripped-off from <!-- BBCode Start -->Max Maven*s web site.<!-- BBCode End --> I emailed Max asking about it...
I don*t have time right now to view the Adland commercials you posted - that will probably be tomorrow when I have some time off, and I drop some more € into the jar. wink
