I saw your miracle-gro ads over on ihaveanidea.org, I think that*s your strongest campaign.
I*m not sure about the Monster ads, I feel like there*s a weak connection to the company... maybe you need a tagline to tie everything together
The fossil ads have some nice writing, but I don*t really feel compelled to read them. Going along with what caffeinegoddess said, maybe this is an art direction issue.
Same with the Jamba ads. If they were in a magazine, I*d flip right by them.
The rubix cube ads are funny, but I*m not so certain it*s the right execution for the product - I mean, everyone knows what a rubix cube is and an exaggeration of its difficulty doesn*t really do anything for me.
Maybe I am missing something but, I don*t get the Rubixs stuff. What*s the message? The cube is so hard to do that you*ll kill yourself? I*m not sure that*s the message you*re trying to get across. I do however like the tagline/strapline for it. I*d play more with that "Terribly puzzling" idea more. I think you could get a stronger concept out of that line than what you have now.
I like the Fossil idea- I think you*d be better off with a different font though- one that would be easier to read- especially for the headline. And maybe play with the kerning of the type used in the story. (Gah is it kerning? I*m not an art director so what do I know.)
Jamba ads are not quite there. I see where you*re heading, but I wonder if you could take it further. I also wonder why you*re talking to the people who already drink Jamba Juice - perhaps turning it around to those who don*t drink Jamba would make the ads stronger.
Thumbs up on the Food Network and Listerine ads.
Web site stuff- I agree with Dab about adding some kind of navigation to the windows that pop up. It would be much easier for me to go through your work without having to constantly open a new window- even if you just do it for the campaigns I think it would be good.
Also, instead of "new page 0" or "new page 1" on the headers, you might want to consider sticking your name or gambleuk up there.
Just my 2p. grin
I wasn*t thrilled with the juice ads...but the rubiks cube stuff really gave me a sick feeling. It*s memorable. Doubt a client would ever go for it, but it gets the point across. Good communication all-round.
Hiya
bit busy so I just took a peek, two minor website nitpicks The opening of images in a new window, and unability to going from that window, say, with an "forward ->" link to the next ad gets tired fast. "Comming Soon" under design is spelled with one "m". wink On the up, all ads are a very good size for clear viewing.
For some reason I didn*t think the "Angry"-jamba ad was as funny as the other two in the copy. If anyone else said something similar you might want to take a look at that ones copy.
the strong ones 1) Jamba 2) Miracle-Gro the "i might get rid of it as it*s just a one-off anyway..."= Miller. (The Container Store is a better one-off IMHO).
Didn*t have time to look at California Wine Market Council, Fossil and the full food network.
Cheers
