Kudos again Dabitch for the excellent site!



I looking for either a book I can order, or better yet a file I can download, about the history of television advertising. AdAge was supposed to have an excellent "50 Years of Television Advertising", but took it off of their site. After calling them, they told me that the article was gone and there are no reprints.



Can someone point me in a good direction?

There*s a book <!-- BBCode Start -->The 100 best commercails of all time<!-- BBCode End --> which might be what the doctor ordered - alas, it*s just screendumps/storyboards and background story of each ad.



I have tapes from <!-- BBCode Start -->the D&AD<!-- BBCode End --> and <!-- BBCode Start -->Shots<!-- BBCode End --> that covere the english choices of *best adverts ever* - they*re old though, and like adage*s thing might not be available still.....
