I bet i hafta wait a year before I get to see that episode of ER...[it takes that long for us poor scandinavinans to catch up hehe]
Wouldn*t be impossible that he wrote the music though.

I know this isn*t related to a commerical, but did anyone see ER last night? At the very beginning of the episode when Luka was in his M and M thing I could have sworn this guy wrote that music.
Anyone with me?
Oh, WOW! Thank you so much for posting that. I have been looking for info on him for AGES it seems. And Bladerunner is my favorite movie. Seems fitting that he did the ad for it. Of, course, I wasn*t old enough to remember the ad trailer but I do love the music that was scored for that movie and they have a similar sound in common.
Yippie! Thanks.
Jonathan Elias
has a pretty impressive bio - did music for the movies Alien, Blade Runner and Gandi. Great you gave us a name to google, thanks.
And you*re right in that he did that Nike ad - as can be
read in the credits here
"*Move* ad - The music is called *Elias Music* and the sound design was by Jeff Elmassian, Endless Noise. It was commissioned by Nike and is not available for consumer distribution."
I can*t find any webpages crediting him with the Lexus ad.. But still good call - I think it is the same fellar.

If it is the commercial I think it is (winding roads, leaves falling, a kid looking out from the window of the car) I have this theory that I have mentioned before. But since you bring it up--the music on it reminds me VERY stongly of the music from the "Move" Nike commercials that played during the olympics.
Someone said that the artist who wrote the commercial ad was Jonathin Elias (nobody famous--just writes ad music). I really think it*s the same person or group who did these two.
I too wish he*d quit his ad gig and put out an album. b
Just putting in my two cents.
rolleyes *sigh* - i guess not all agencies can be pop-stars. Hahaha.
Nevermind. I contacted the ad agency and they responded that it was created specifically for the commercial, and not sold independently.
Does anyone know the music in the newest Lexus commercial (\"Living\" 030 released 10/18/02)?
This is the commercial that says \"We Pursue Perfection So You Can Pursue Living.\"
Thanks
