Hello

I am a Marketing Professor at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada. I teach the marketing communications course and I would like to show students commercials that have been Plagiarized.

To do this, I would like to find two commericals in .wmv, .mov or other format where the theme/content of the ads are copied from each other.

Any ideas or names of commercials I can search on Ad-rag or eleswhere? Thanks very much (my students thank you also!).

You can also e-mail me suggestions at <!-- BBcode auto-mailto start -->marshallrice10@yahoo.ca.<!-- BBCode auto-mailto end -->

Thanks.

This must be exactly what you´re looking for?

Professor Rice, you can do an entire semester with the stuff in <!-- BBCode Start -->Badland<!-- BBCode End --> wink

Click on the mustard-ketchup bottle symbol to search all Badland dupliclaims (and not the *spoof-ads or homages) - like so.

(shorlified search URL so that can post this in the forums)

<!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//shorl.com/gylufijedruby<!-- BBCode auto-link end -->

searching all dupliclaims, then watch *em, so you can weed out the twin-commercials you think are good for class from the twin posters and twin logos and other twinny Badland-ads that are also in the dupliclaim collection. There are currently 118 dupliclaims in Badland. wink

ps - I think <!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//ad-rag.com/108416.php<!-- BBCode auto-link end --> "10 years later EA Sports copies Nike" and

7 Eleven vs. Pepsi at <!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//ad-rag.com/105962.php<!-- BBCode auto-link end --> and Pacific life <!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//ad-rag.com/7650.php<!-- BBCode auto-link end --> + Pocari Sweat <!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//ad-rag.com/7648.php<!-- BBCode auto-link end --> and <!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//ad-rag.com/601.php<!-- BBCode auto-link end --> Hyundai vs. Volkswagen and <!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//ad-rag.com/523.php<!-- BBCode auto-link end --> Sperm Bank Stereotypes ... and a few more will be just your cuppa tea.

Not forgotten <!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//ad-rag.com/749.php<!-- BBCode auto-link end --> Levis copies Levis UK? Levis vs Harp - <!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//ad-rag.com/791.php<!-- BBCode auto-link end --> .. and hehe, Case of the same stock - A House with a nice southern overexposure <!-- BBCode auto-link start -->http//ad-rag.com/1428.php<!-- BBCode auto-link end --> and.. Heck. Just look. wink

Thanks!

I am overwhelmed by the response and links to the *dupliclaim ads*. This is excellent material and it is going to be a great lecture.

Thanks again. Wish I could give everyone here an *A*.
