I know for sure now, it's not Pledge, or Old English. It is for the Clorox Ready-Mop. (Had my memory jogged from someone else looking for this, wish someone would find it and post it on youtube already, geez this is like looking for the last unicorn or something!
The Pledge ad is American. It ran in 1998 on all major TV networks for a limited time. If you find it, PLEEASSSEEE LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!

Are you sure this commercial is for Pledge? Pledge is a furniture polish in the USA? Is it an American TV Ad? If it is we should have it on file.
I am looking for an ad for Pledge (SC Johnson) floor polish and floor cleaner. THe ad originally aired in 1998. It goes like this
The camera is positioned under a glass floor, and above we see a
young woman mopping the glass floor. She is wearing all white -- white
t-shirt, white pants that only come halfway down here calves, and white cotton
socks (you also get to see an inch or two or so of flesh between the pant cuffs
and the sock tops. As she mops. she wipes the floor with the sole of her
white-socked foot. Then the camera cuts to a view from above as she lifts her
foot up to view the dirt on her sole. The first time, we get a quick glimpse of
the back half of her bare sole as she pulls the sock off with a disgusted look
on her face. Then she does the test a couple more times, until at last she
uses the advertised floor polish, and her sock*s sole is totally white. At the
end, we get a straight-on view from ground level of her just from the legs
down, and she poses one foot so we can see that the sole of her sock is still
clean.
I have been searching for this ad high and low and if anyone knows where to find it, please contact me at
andyp86@aol.com
or post the ad on the ADLAND website
