Publix commercials from a few years ago
Hi, I have my own collection of ads. But, umm...the one you*re describing isn*t ringing a bell at all.

Publix (regional grocery store chain based in Florida) was known for using very heart warming commercials, particularly around Thanksgiving and Christmas. These commercials had no dialogue, just music and were very magical. If I remember, they were long in length (60 seconds usually). They repeated the same holiday commercials every year from about 1999 to maybe 2002 but I don*t remember seeing them in a while. I would love to find these!

Thanks, those are very good Publix commercials. The ones I am thinking of were mainly holiday commercials. They involved family gatherings, either at Thanksgiving or Christmas. There was one involving salt shakers that came to life, and another involved an older couple that bakes a cake for their new next door neighbors. Finally there was one that was silent that had this beautiful string orchestra music and I believe it was a Christmas or Thanksgiving commercial. This is the one I really really want. grin
Oh, OK. You*re looking for these spots then

How the heck do you do it?? Amazing...
Actually the better question would be, how come none of these came up when I typed Publix in the search field yesterday, but now they come up?
I hate to wear out my welcome here (you are doing an incredible job finding these), but there is *ONE* more that was not included in these five ads. It*s a Pubix one that was played during holidays around 2000/2001, and it has a gorgeous string orchestral accompaniment (I think it*s strings anyways). It*s not a fast festive music like the salt shakers one you found, but rather a slower more calm piece. Again, it*s a longer ad that has no dialogue. This one I remember the least as far as details, but how many different commercials could Publix have had for the holidays during that period?
Thanks again smile
