schools in NY or NJ area

Hi there!!!

I would like to know if anybody can suggest some good ad/design schools in the NY or Jersey area. I would like to build my portfolio and take some classes to get " familiar " with the whole advertising concept.

I have a Bachelors in Marketing, Advertising and PR and a Masters in Business Marketing but my real passion is advertising. its been a few years since I finished school ... and unfortunately I never worked in the filed. I went to school in Europe and recently came back to the States.

any suggestions???

Parsons and FIT have some summer courses that will do you a lot more good than throwing away a full year in some lesser portfolio schools. You already have a Bachelor, take a summer, or enroll in night classes while working to pad your portfolio instead.

There's portfolio classes at Parsons & SVA and even FIT - all offer summer programs as well.

No, I was told that to atend Miami Ad School I would have to go to Miami First... :(
