I agree that the Remington ad's headline is "clunky", in that it doesn't read well with the two different font styling. Other than that, it does capture a distinct style for its self and one that is well suited for gentlemen magazines. I personally enjoyed the conservative spot, it not be done in the most original style but the content was. I especially enjoyed the satirical juxtaposition of the film style used to endorse the conservative view.
