Just caught this ad about half an hour ago, and did notice that he looked more...awake. The closing imagery of the King trying to push the guy off the high steel is frigging classic.Posted: 7 years 32 weeks agoon the post: Have It Your Way With The Caffeine King

If this isn't a copycat, then I'm a wild buffalo. I saw this last night - in passing, no less - and thought exactly the same thing. Aren't there enough original ideas out there, sheesh?Posted: 8 years 9 weeks agoon the post: Tag mimicking Axe?

I'm sure there are fifty that I truly love, but I thought the "Oh, it's you Bob." ad campaign that Nissan ran a few years back was excellent. The concept was this guy "Bob" who drove a Nissan, and that the vehicle made you "special." Bob had his own lane at the tolls, his own lane on the highway, and when he gets pulled over by the highway patrol, the cop takes down his sunglasses and says "Oh, it's you Bob." and lets Bob go. It was just kooky and yet easy to remember.Posted: 8 years 23 weeks agoon the post: Another chance at making your holiday merry

That's pretty hysterical, actually. As for the commercial, now that's just flat out demented. I have three words for them, though. Cease and Desist. It's that good!Posted: 8 years 29 weeks agoon the post: watch out - here comes iBitch 2.0

Excellent. It's disturbing that so many of us that complain about creep can get into a really good viral when we see one. Thanks for posting it.Posted: 8 years 36 weeks agoon the post: Nike viral - watch out for squirrels

I'd say there is definitely something with the ad campaign. What I've noticed is that they are targeting the "late night" crowd in a way - one of their commercials shows the folks out so late at night that when they step out of the club/party scene they have to go get a McMuffin or whatever.... While you're not hearing Justin Timberlake croon the "I'm lovin' it" all over the place, the replacements seem to be doing a good job.Posted: 9 years 1 week agoon the post: Someone's "lovin' it"

Such a thing isn't bad to do - anything that creates buzz is a good thing. Plus, it shows they are a good sport.Posted: 9 years 6 weeks agoon the post: BMW & April Fool's Day

So what's the value prop for the homeless folks to not kick me in the shin, here. I understand that Hello is going to make a donation to homeless support, but the wiifm for a homeless person I'm going to see tomorrow is going to overrule anything that works for the greater good. I'm not trying to trash the idea, I just am looking for a suggestion on this...Posted: 9 years 8 weeks agoon the post: "Hello" project for and about homeless around the world.
