No I don*t want to do this for a living. After reading some of the posts on this site, I can see that it*s a very hard life you guys have to go through. With getting doors slammed in your face, getting ideas stolen away from you. I guess I*ll just keep them to myself or make some video shoot and post them on some site somewhere. Thanks anyways guys, you have deflated my balloon. Guess I*ll try and become a millionaire by staying on the heavy Equipment job I have. Any of you ever thought of making a living in the construction field?? Thanks rolleyesPosted: 8 years 13 weeks agoon the post: Where to sell tv commercial ideas!

Hi Guys & Gals! Talk about someone being Young Dog! Got it here. For the past years, I have been thinking of trying my hand at submiting ideas for various commercials, either humorous or not. All kinds of ideas in my head. Many people I have spoken to or shared my ideas with all tell me they are decent ideas to very good ones. I am not a writer by far, actually my trade is in the construction field as a Heavy Equipment Operator, this means I do serious work but at the same time I*m all alone with my thoughts for up to 14 hours a day. After the day is over, it*s home to my wife and kid and a bit of TV. Next morning comes and back ay work I think about what I have watched the night before along with commercials I have seen. That*s when these ideas start coming to me. Call me a dreamer if you want but we all daydream in each and our own way. Now my question is where to sell these ideas?,, does selling ideas pay? I realize ideas have to be sold to the company and a lot of work and effort go into this before it*s even accepted. Does selling to Real Writers the way to go? Is there an ad agency (I guess that*s what you call them? who work with you to try and pick your head for ideas? Like I said I have NATTA experience in this stuff and I hope someone can start a thread with ideas on how to kick start this. emails welcome also therealbass3rd@hotmail.com ThanksPosted: 8 years 14 weeks agoon the post: Where to sell tv commercial ideas!
