Satirical game about the troubling supply chain - can't have that. Phone Story is banned from App store.

Phonestory is an iPhone game that shows the "troubling supply chain" of how the minerals are mined in Coltran, the suicides at the factory in China and the fanboydom of getting the latest gadget whetherr you really need it or not. The plan of the game creators, molleindustria, was to redirect the money earned on the game to the organizations that are fighting corporate abuses.

Cut&Paste Launches 12-City Live Design Competition: Call For Competitors Is Open

Cut&Paste, the global digital design competition known for its lively onstage battles and reputation-making performances, will return to 12 cities this year, this time with Adobe as the event's Platinum Sponsor. The contest, which will culminate in a championship event in New York, is open immediately to potential competitors.

AdLook: Lets judge women in advertising on how hot they look - not how hot their work is.

Only in the Ukraine could we have an award like Adlook, where the 'muses' in advertising aren't judged by the hotness of their work, but by how hot they look in heels and a push-up bra. Unlike in the miss Universe competition, here silicone is A-OK!
Seriously, they say this in their opening paragraph.

Adlook – is the first rating, where ad agencies take their places not for their works, but for beautiful looks of their female co-workers. So the rating of your agency depends on you, girls. Clients and their budgets have no importance here. There’s no place for fakes here (though adlook team thinks that silicone is ok).

Cannes Lions 2012 reverts back to original date: 17 to 23 June 2012

Change of plans folks! My Birthday will not be held in Cannes next year (crowd roars with DISAPPOINT!), as it has just been announced the Lions festival is moving back to it's original date. Quick, get on the horn and re-schedule that team of former rugby-players now turned exotic dancers to come and party with me at my house instead. What do you mean you didn't book them in the first place? Son, I am disappoint.

We have just been informed by the city of Cannes that for various internal and external reasons the proposed improvement works to the Palais des Festivals have now been postponed.
Therefore, to avoid a crossover with the end of the Cannes Film Festival, we are reverting to our usual dates in the third week of June – 17-23 June 2012.

Should the PR lion for Mercedes "Hitchhiker" be revoked for being stealth? How about for being a copy-cat?

Flashback to Cannes lions and the Gold winning PR entry called Tramp A Benz which consisted of a man who hitchiked through Germany, but only in Mercedes Benz. He blogged about it, he facebooked it, there was even a book printed in the end showing all the nice drivers who picked him up. He was Stefan Gbureck, a former Hugo Boss model and 'emerging street photographer and performance artist from Berlin'. It all seemed to be his idea, even if he used the classic Mercedes line "The best or nothing" on his brown paper cardboard as he hitched.
