BULLITT Fuels High-Octane Roster With Director Mouse McCoy

BULLITT, a company known for crafting content at the intersection of entertainment and advertising, is excited to welcome director Mouse McCoy to its diverse and compelling roster. McCoy is known for real-world innovation, and boldly challenging concepts with an approach he defines as creative engineering. “When we founded BULLITT as a filmmaker-driven company, it was with directors like Mouse in mind: entrepreneurial talent who thrive on exploring new frontiers and expressive ways of shaping stories,” explains Co-Founder/Director Justin Lin.

According to McCoy, “With BULLITT, I felt an immediate kinship and a shared drive to push boundaries with story and technology. It’s a culture that truly resonates with me.”

McCoy’s campaign for Hot Wheels: For Real helped define the model for 360 branded entertainment, garnering 4 billion media impressions, breaking three Guinness World Records, and earning a Gold Lion and Clio Gold. At the center of the campaign was a six story installation at the Los Angeles X Games of the popular Hot Wheels set, the Double Dare Snare®. The massive spectacle unfolded in front of 25,000+ live spectators and the event’s global television audience – the largest in X Games’ history -- leaving an indelible mark on the motorsports and advertising industries.

McCoy was also at the helm of the revolutionary and wildly Toyota Camry Thrill Ride, which invited unsuspecting amusement park goers to take a spin with stunt drivers through a real amusement ride.

The son of commercial producers, McCoy first made his mark as a world-class racer and stunt man. He applied his experience as a Baja 1000 champion to developing the critically acclaimed documentary Dust to Glory. The film captures the struggles and triumphs of his epic solo journey on a motorcycle in the grueling event. Released theatrically, the film generated massive interest in Baja 1000, reputed to be the most dangerous race in the world.

This life lived in action and adventure also fueled the development of Bandito Brothers, a studio and production outfit founded by McCoy that cornered the market on the art and technology of motion and mobility for nearly a decade. Among the studio’s noted projects was McCoy’s first feature, Act of Valor a first of its kind collaboration with Navy SEALs that opened number one at the Box Office and earned 10 times its budget. Featuring real active duty Navy SEALs, his project inspired McCoy to keep refining the authentic approach to action filmmaking.
