Justdelete.me makes it easy to delete your online profiles.

Robb Lewis and Ed Poole realized people are getting tired of having to sign up for a site or app only to tire of the latest thing and then go down a rabbit hole trying to delete it.

They came up with a solution called Justdelete.me , a site that aggregates the "delete" pages of nearly 100 popular sites.

They explain it on the website: "Many companies use dark pattern techniques to make it difficult to find how to delete your account. JustDelete.me aims to be a directory of urls to enable you to easily delete your account from web services."

Not only that, it color codes them based on how hard it is to really delete. For instance, if you want to delete your profile on Vine, you have to contact Twitter directly if you want to keep your Twitter account up and running. To delete Spotify, you have to contact customer service. What's more disturbing though are the sites that don't allow you to delete your profile period. Sites like Craigslist, Netflix and Pinterest, to name a few.

I am all for this. Because I like transparency. For instance in order to delete Skype, Justdelete.me points out you must know five contacts, your sign up email address and, get this, the month you created your account.

I have a feeling more pages will be added to this site. Who knows? Maybe the forced transparency will cause enough pressure to make some of these sites reconfigure their opt-out protocol.
