HAW Hamburg Students create Haribo spec print ads.

Every so often advertising portfolio students are nice (or brave) enough to send us their spec ads.

These for Haribo Gummy Bears come from Valentin René Tillian and Michael Wilde, two students at HAW Hamburg, Design Department.

As far as pure visual solutions go, these seem like they'd find a nice home in Luerzers Archive.

As far as ads with ideas go, they're a bit vague. Are you telling me they are made with real fruit? Or that they really taste like fruit? Something fruit? You don't need a lot of copy but it should be a bit more clear as to your point.

That's my take. What's yours? Let us know in the comments, dear readers.

Client: Haribo

It is clear that the ads are referencing the fruit flavors of the gummi bears. Eye candy!!

So it's referencing the obvious....is that the best thing to convey?

Something like "made with real fruit" would help it. Just a teeny line. Because "taste like strawberries" is what the visual says and have eaten them, I can honestly say they do not. ;)
