A bucket list just for a dogs 14th birthday? Looks more like the last weekend, and making sure the (presumably dying) dog has an epic last few days of his life.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, in fact, it was quite touching.

The scouting & casting is good too, I love the tidy lodge and the old lady who owns the "old girlfriend"

That is such a gripping ad for dog lovers such as myself. It really tugs at my heart.
Thanks, everyone, for making such a touching ad!

Look closely. It's not the dog's 14th birthday. It's his 14 and 3/4 birthday. Clearly he's not long for this world. A beautiful, touching ad.

The dying dog ad is extremely sad and is very depressing for someone who loves his dog as much as I do. Please make the ad go away.

did not see the whole add until, found it here, wish they showed the whole add on TV. Death is part of the cycle, especially when we choose to spend our lives with those whose lives are shorter than our own. Touching, somber, poignant... deeper than most adds and richer for it. it acknowledges the extent a heart connection with our fur family goes, that may never makes sense to some, in a way that honors those who do.
Thank You

Could someone please tell me the name of the dog in the ad "Dream Weekend." Is he/she a rescue? We would love to include the dog in our Book Project to benefit shelter animals worldwide that already Fish includes many celebrities and their rescues.

Looking forward to your reply,

Shirley Mantalos

I would suggest that you contact Biscuit Filmworks credited here to ask them who they used for dog-casting.

Please, please tell me where this Tidy Lodge is located! I want to go there and stay! :) I love this guy and his dog! It's perfect that the dog is a lab and loves water so he's sneaking him in for a dip!! Perfect commercial!!
Thanks for any info anyone can share!!

The scene with the tennis balls is poignant as well. I wonder, does the dog still love to chase tennis balls, but he's too old or sick to take the back, i.e., play "fetch."

I believe the Tidy Lodge is the Swiss Lodge in Pasadena, CA.
