Anomaly Toronto has released an extended cut of the Shock Top Super Bowl ad today, where comedian T.J. Miller trades insults with the brand's Wedgehead mascot at a bar. A 30 second edit will air during the SB50.
Creative Director turned CTO, hell-raising sweetheart and editor of Adland. Globetrotting Swede who has lived and worked in New York, London, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Los Angeles and Stockholm.
This tells me nothing about the product, gives me no relevant information, shows me no product benefit, nor is even particularly funny.
Here's one for the Shock Top brand manager:
"You look like you enjoy the sound of burning through your advertising budget and wasting every cent."
