Blue Ball Foundation - Play with Yourself (2015) case study (Australia)

You may have seen adult film actresses remind men to check for testicular cancer before, but not in this fashion. During the season premiere of "Game Of Thrones", the aptly-named Australian charity The Blue Ball Foundation, and leading LA adult film studio Digital Playground created an adult film called "Game of Balls". Adult actress Eva Lovia donned a thematic dress (for a brief moment) and then the porn began. Released without any PR, the film was found on all sorts of porn websites where Australian males hang out. Little did they now that when they went to watch the movie, it was a “pornterruptive” public health message. Eva teaches you how to check for testicular cancer mid-movie. Since the viewers may already have their pants down at the time. Eva then points to an on-screen URL, playwithyourself.org – where men can find out more, get help, and spread the word. Then the film continues as normal.

A huge success and talked about worldwide, not just in Australia.
