Clever pastiche of the old beer commercials of the 70's and 80's. With majestic music playing and men being men with real mustaches that haven't been groomed. Men who are all named "Gord." Then après hockey, it's time to hit the old pub. Shots of arms-around-each-other camaraderie. And the raucous laughter at who knows what. The endless toasts in those hourglass beer glasses. And the deep-voiced man (always) who gives us the wisdom. "When it's time to have a good time, nothing refreshes like the easy-drinking ice cold taste of a tall glass of milk." Even the cinematography feels slightly grainy even though it isn't. I wish there were dozens of these. I'd watch them all.
