Pepsi MAX / Live for Now - Friend Request - (2013) :30 (USA)

In this most new spot for Pepsi Max the modern habit of smartphoning even while out with people is observed, as an entire party has guests instagramming their drinks and tweeting their friends. What bores.

Seeing a lonely girl in the couch, our hero grabs the opportunity to offer some human interaction without the filter of smartphones between them.

Coca Cola creates a personalized road in Israel.

Coca Cola has a world wide campaign going on in which people can personalize their cans with their own names.

Israel joined in on the happiness by creating a personalized road that greeted people as they passed by interactive billboards.

By name.

Consumers only had to enter their name once through a Coca Cola smartphone app. The location-based app could identify people as they approached the billboard. When they passed by the billboard would "notify" them.

It's kind of like what the NSA has been doing to us Americans for the past decade, except in this case, they let you know.

Ardbeg "Hot rod Tractor" (2013) 2:00 (UK)

The Scotland agency Story are insane. I'll just say it. They cooked up a nutty idea to outfit a tractor with a dragster engine, to advertise Ardbeg Whisky. And then they raced an F1 with it.

Putting aside the whole "why advertise a whisky brand by showing someone operating heavy machinery" conundrum, I kind of want to see this tractor. Scratch that: I kind of want to own it.

Pepsi Max "Live for now" (2013) 2:50 (UK)

Pepsi wants you to Live For Now. So they got English magician Steven Frayne, better known as Dynamo, to levitate next to a double decker bus that was branded with Pepsi Max: #LiveForNow. And just in case you weren't aware, it also ends with Dynamo drinking the beverage, too.

Over-branding aside, apparently onlookers were still excited to witness it. Or at least the ones carefully edited into the case study.

And while a good magician never reveals his secrets, if it's anything like this similar trick done by a german performance artist, we already have a good idea how he did it.
