No fancy-smancy lavender scented oils, no neon lit salon where your hairdresser has Farah Fawcett's do and hip-wiggle. Barbershops are basic, and traditional. They know the buzzcut, the burr, the businessmans cut. The know how to use clippers and how to taper your neckline and trim your sideburns.

I guess BIC has realized they can not compete against the ever-more-blades arms race, and have opted for the simple and rather silly sell instead. The Lynx Excite Angels have fallen ... and landed in the middle of train stations in the UK - depicted above in Victoria Station. They also appeared in Birmingham Bullring the 19th & 20th March 2011, where commuters suddenly found themselves surrounded by angles. Using the same technique / inspired by Chris O'Shea's "hand from above", which we've seen in a Forever 21 augmented reality billboard as well, the angels appear "next to people" but can only be seen on the digital billboard.
