Advil - Headaches up close - print.

Mcgarrybowen Chicago wants you to know that everyone gets headaches, even Regis Philbin. They collaborated with Martin Schoeller to shoot their current print campaign for Advil, using his close-up style to establish the look and feel of this ongoing campaign. Laboratoires SIVO - Mafia / Kidnapping / Turkish bath - Tunis

If you are are nearsighted your eyes can play tricks on you.

Ok, fine. I get that. But here's what I don't get. While depicting possible kidnapping scenarios, Mafia-filled restaurants and saunas with leering dudes in them... What exactly are you saying about your client, Laboratoires SIVO, products and services? That's right, nothing. Nothing at all. Everyone who is nearsighted has this issue, and all you're really saying is that your client sells glasses, which I'm sure they can't be the only ones in Tunisia who do.

So yeah, nearsighted people without glasses and active imaginations see Hollywood-style action scenes where there isn't any. Got it.

Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation - Reverse - (2012) :30 (US)

Nola Director Greg Ramsey recently collaborated with Curious Pictures and @radical media to produce an uplifting spot created by BBDO in support of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

Reverse opens on a dramatically lit, seemingly endless arrangement of dominoes. "In July of 2006, a hit-and-run accident left me paralyzed from the chest down," a somber Rob Summers says as the camera pulls back to reveal that the game pieces form a human silhouette. From the chest, the dominoes begin to fall, setting off a chain reaction in which over 2,000 more collapse into one another in a spellbindingly graphic metaphor.

Biomen - "Hitler recommends Shampoo for men" - (2012)

Oh HELLO, here's the hat trick of offensivenesss, it's not just the real Hitler, used in an ad, but it's also a misogynist shill to teach people that real men (which presumably the mass murdering dictator was), don't use women's shampoo. For serious, the VO is translated as such:

If you're not wearing women's clothes, you shouldn't be using women's shampoo either. Here it is. A real man's shampoo. Biomen.
Real men use Biomen.

Specsavers - Sauna / Gordon Ramsay - (2011) :40 (USA)

The unexpected twist here is not that the man, blind as a bat without his glasses, wanders into the kitchen instead of the sauna he was looking for. The unexpected twist is that Gordon Ramsey is in it, and he doesn't go on a yelling rant. A knife in the sausage? Seriously? I wanna go all Gordon Ramsey on that old joke.

Lynx - Rules Rugby (as demonstrated by babes)

Lynx wants everyone to know the rules of rugby, so to make the entire straight male population (and possibly some gay women) pay attention they swapped out the burly men with tree-trunk thick muscle-thighs for sweaty nimble women who tackle, ruck and maul. I've learned so much from this, see usually I'm just distracted by the beefy men in tiny shorts piling up on each other. Hubba.

Girl on the platform smile
The boy thought, thats the best smile he has seen for a while

She must have been about 26?....28?......28
And her skin looks really really great
She was a natural blond
She wasn't natural blonde
But that's what made me fond of her

She was off to Hull? Leeds? Wigan?
Off to Wigan, the home of pies
With her beautiful, beguiling eyes
And she looked at the boy with the 'fancy pants' words
And she began to dance

She began to dance
Oh....oh...
She began to dance
She be....

The boy thought, thats the best smile he has seen for a while
