When I first saw this commercial, I thought it was for Geico. It is, but it’s also for The History Channel. Then I noticed the spot just wouldn’t end. It’s almost three minutes long. So what we have here is a hybrid Geico commercial/promo for The History Channel. It’s a new breed of advertising!

PermalinkGetting so tired of the cavemen thing...so very tired.
I've noticed more and more advertising of this sort - more of the cross promotional/sponsored by...blah blah. Last night while flipping through the channels, Discovery's Survival Friday was sponsored by TGIFridays. Although they had no large production deal like this.
