Boy! I wonder how the ad looked on the zoopraxiscope (Edison's Kinetoscope [one person viewer] didn't exist until 1891, Lumiere's Cinematographe [portable movie camera] didn't exist until 1895, and Edison's Vitascope [projector] didn't exist until 1896).
Of course, it might have been a print ad back then... :-)
Actually, I wonder how today's ad might have looked to people back then (assuming you made it black & white).
