To promote the designed Kotex, smoyz went to pinterest to stalk track down what inspires women, between all the cupcake photos.

This campaign used the Pinterest platform to find what inspires women, we brought each individual inspiration to life and designed each woman a personal gift according to her inspiration and interest. we then sent these women an inspiration package by kotex and this created a huge buzz on the social platforms: pinterest, facebook, twitter & instagram.

    This is quite possibly the best marketing campaign that utilizes all different types of social media platforms. Many businesses and advertisers know that Pinterest can be used as a great marketing tool, but this is definitely one of the best examples of how to utilize it. Of course, when something "good" or "cool" happens to somebody, their automatic response is to brag about it and post it to all social media sites. So, I'm sure that these women would have posted their gifts regardless of if Kotex had told them to or not.

    How did they pick out the 50 women, though? Was it just at complete random or did they win a contest? Either way, the 50 gifts ended up impacting almost 700,00 people, which is truly amazing! This is an excellent campaign that takes advantage of the social media sites that women are mostly using. I'm really impressed with this.
