LVCVA - What happens here, stays here - The Secret (2015) 1:14 (USA)

With a very knowing nod to the iconic slasher movie SCREAM (1996), and I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), this topical Halloween ad reminds visitors that as long as it's not about Vegas, their secrets are safe.

Twitter users who have recently visited Las Vegas in the past six to 12 months will be targeted based on recently used keywords and shown a :30 of this ad. Those who watch will then receive follow-up spooky gifs, simply reminding them: Is your secret safe? #Vegas

We've seen some great Vegas ads recently in London, including a poster (below), which prompted an engineer friend to dub it 'the only good ad I've ever seen on the tube.'

Lovely copy. It's amazing that 'What happens here, stays here' is still producing great content after so many years - the campaign is 12 years old; a lifetime in advertising. Hopefully this also shows a single pillar of truth most agencies and clients can't seem to understand - if it's not broke, don't try to fix it. Just keep on doing it better.
