Merkley + Partners has tapped Rock Paper Scissors Editors Biff Butler and Jonnie Scarlett to cut a trio of spots in the latest campaign for Mercedes. Accordingly, the editorial company took the opportunity to show off its range of post-production capabilities, handling all conform and clean-up duties in addition to the edit.

All From One Place puts Mercedes’ new mbrace2 technology on display, using several sudden cuts to send the spot’s protagonist from the driver’s seat through a series of far-flung locations to illustrate the many tasks its cloud-based telematic computer can accomplish. Are We There Yet takes a different tack, deploying a striking montage of children each repeating the classic, titular question to explore broader themes of progress and innovation underpinning the design of Mercedes’ new seven-passenger GL.
