Sdia - Going All The Way - (2009) :1:45 (Israel)

The increasing popularity of the song led to some great collaboration, while still keeping the story a secret from the general public:

· The "Going all the way" ringtone ranked 9th on Cellcom's "Most Downloaded Ringtones" list (Israel's largest cellular operator) and was featured on the front page of the "orange music" portal.

· The "Going all the way" song was chosen as the soundtrack for a Nokia online banner campaign promoting their new music-playing handset. There alone, it was played over 80.000 times.

· More than 300 coffee-shops and restaurants played the song once every hour for an entire month (via YCD Company) and generated more than 150.000 exposures at hotspots around the country…and counting.

Engel - Sense The Fire - 2009 / april 4:31- Sweden

Shot in Gothenburg, may 2009 in a cold deserted factory without power. That became a problem during the night. We also used ALL gas for the pyroeffects, and the pyrotech smiled like a happy child when we loaded the truck in the morning...

Family Supercooks “Talking Food” Idents - Emotional Pizza - (2009) 2 x 10s (UK)

The brief in a line was to create a series of engaging sponsorship bumpers to promote the FSA’s association with new show “Family Supercooks” - this the talking food was born. There's the wigged out sausage who can't get his head around another talking sausage, the ever depressed and the super positive potato, the egg and salted peanuts. Some of the quirky characters the food has turned into are are loosely based on people at RKCR/Y&R.... Only four actors were used for the 17 characters, with post-production trickery used to create the illusion of completely different faces.

Adam Lambert - “Time for Miracles” 2012 soundtrack - (2009) 4:20 (USA)

Very nice with the cuts between the film 2012 and the scenes shot for this music video alone (even though I could not help but giggle a little at the pained love song sung to a backdrop of the destruction of the world, but that's just me.)

The latest music video from creative ideas and solutions studio SOLID is set against the backdrop of a cataclysmic event. However, as directed by Wayne Isham and edited by SOLID’s Richard Cooperman, “Time for Miracles” is a testament to artistic collaboration and raw star power.

Lady Gaga - Bad Romance - (2009)

Ga ga Oh lala. Lady Gaga is sold off in some sort of auction of females, that is after she's climbed out of a ski-box wearing only white latex and red lipstick. Yep, the idea is that Gaga has been kidnapped by a group of supermodels who drug her, for her to drink vodka (sponsor!), and then sell her off to the Russian Mafia. Just another day in the life of Monster.

Apl.de.Ap - Take me to the Philippines - (2009) 2:27 (USA)

It's every bit of late eighties pink neon Miami Vice wish they looked this cool kitch - updated.

MTV Asia tapped Los Angeles-based motion design & production studio Royale to create the music video for “Take Me to the Philippines,” the latest effort by hip-hop artist Apl.de.Ap of The Black Eyed Peas. Created in conjunction with the Philippine Department of Tourism, the video visually underscores Apl’s lyric homage to his homeland -- a salient inspiration of the internationally acclaimed artist’s repertoire – and serves as a unique medium as part of a greater campaign to promote tourism in the Philippines. Royale Creative Directors/Partners Brien Holman and Jayson Whitmore helmed the video, with a dynamic mix of live-action and 2D/3D animation.
“Take Me to the Philippines,” which debuted on October 1, 2009, launched as part of MTV International’s Annual Creative Highlight.

Modest Mouse - The Whale Song - (2009) 6:05 (USA)

The indie rock band Modest Mouse is getting the royal treatment from Bent Image Lab's new director/partner Nando Costa. Just completed, the band's new music video is a dark and expressive piece of film-making. Heavily rooted in live-action, the impressive six-minute video includes intense moments of stop motion, visual effects, and motion graphics techniques, all brought to life within the studio's walls.

The visuals follow an artist who enters his personal sanctuary where he is presented with a hand-crafted drawing tool that assists him in materializing his mental impressions. Through drawing circular patterns, the machine discharges an endless web of yarn that guides him through his visual representations of his memories. The story progresses to reveal that he is divided between two worlds, one of dull reality and the second of warped memories. In the process of finding a way out of his consciousness, he is trapped between the two competing spaces, which eventually inflict lethal damage, acting as metaphors to self-destruction.

This lyrical and moving piece was conceived by Nando Costa working closely with lead singer/guitarist Isaac Brock to polish some of the film's intricacies. Featuring a seamless combination of live-action and stop motion that alternates between stage shots of Modest Mouse and a spiraling dream-like world of ever-shifting landscapes, Whale Song is a stunning representation of the combined capabilities of Nando and Bent. The variety and execution of the VFX portions of the video - from yarn reeling into complex patterns to a guitar that plays with no musician attached - strongly evoke the confused and surreal patterns of one's warped memories. Additional creative touches such as animated and intricate photographic collages and giant CG snails sliding across the band's stage - add variety and depth to the Bent world.
