The Colonie’s Keith Kristinat has edited a spot launching the new Nintendo game The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for Nintendo 3Ds. Conceived by Leo Burnett and produced by The Mill, Legend of You highlights the immersive quality of the game as a young man mimics the appearance and experiences of its main character, Link.
Imagine the deep green and peaceful sounds of a foggy rainforest, cut with an unusual sight: the graceful form of an enormous humpback whale, gliding between the trees and erupting through the leafy canopy.
Pet Trust is the first charitable fund dedicated to cancer cure and prevention in dogs and cats. This spot shows dogs coming together Live Aid style to sing for charity. Very cute, very silly and heartwarming without being sappy. (Be sure to stay for the cat cameo at the end.)
Purina, who generously helped produce the spot, will also match all of your donations to Pet Trust up to $125,000. The site has dogs standing by the telephones, ready to take your call. Really nice stuff.
Portuguese financial services company Millennium Bcp has this charmingly thought provoking ad depicting a girl doing whatever she can to achieve her goal (getting the cookie jar.)
When faced with a similar situation years later, how quickly the girl, now a grown woman, loses that optimism and idealism and gives up.
Belgians drink more cava (Spanish sparkling wine) than anywhere else in the world. Therefore, if Belgians have more sex and make more babies, there will be more Belgians to drink cava and our fictitious owner will become rich.
From the ridiculously long Spanish name of the fictitious owner to the dream sequence, this spot For Vallformosa Cava has some wonderfully zany storytelling.
Do they give out Oscars for best performance by a hand? I didn't think hand casting would be so important but damn. This spot is 2:15 seconds, and I stayed with it for nearly two minutes.
Because it's pretty freaking funny.
All to promote Díol É, a new series on Irish TV channel TG4. Basically contestants make deals and sell some of their old stuff to buy something new. Let's hope the show is as funny and engaging as the spot.
In this spot, kids are told to choose between Annie's Pizza, or Annie's Mac and Cheese, or wait ten minutes for all new Annie's Mac and Cheese Pizza.
We are treated to shot after shot of these kids with the starchy version of the Sword Of Damocles hanging above their heads.
These spots were inspired by teal tests conducted out of Stanford University in the 1960's. As tests I'm sure they were fascinating. As a near two minute spot, it's an excruciatingly long way to go for a pizza with Mac and Cheese on it.
