Foot Locker hits the books - of sneaker history - for back to school campaign.

It's time for the back to school ads, and Foot Locker puns around studying hard with alternative books and historical facts. It's a sneaker thing, see. Students will read "Dunkenstein" and "For Whom the Buzzer Tolls" in the Foot Locker reading room.

"It’s a Sneaker Thing" TV spots "Wright Brothers" and "Newton" were created by SapientNitro and produced by Biscuit Filmworks. They debut on broadcast TV networks, including MTV, ESPN, and BET to name a few, beginning on August 15.

Aaron Ruell, best known for his role as Kip Dynamite in "Napoleon Dynamite" directed the commercials in the campaign.

CBS came to Mother New York to help promote the college football season on CBS College Sports.

The idea taps into the extreme passion a fan has for college football. That nothing, no matter how important, can distract a fan from the game. It is always football first.

Adidas Climacool - Air Cooled training - print, The Netherlands

Adidas and 180 just did this delicious looking campaign for the Climacool Training range. The breif was quite simple: “show the product”.

180 tackled the distinctly uncool environment of the gym by dramatizing the product benefit which is that it keeps you cool through ventilation technology: Air Cooled Training
Creative team Sam Coleman and Peter Albores worked with photographer Carlos Serrao and went into the shoot with a slightly retro advertising ‘all in camera’ approach to subtly demonstrate the Air Cooled effect.

In other words, really big fans were blowing which is probably why this ended up looking so... Oh yeah, I'm going to go there ....Cool.
