UTEC - Potable Water Generator Billboard / Case Study - (2014) 1:34 (Peru)

Mayo DraftFCB/UTEC had a great idea for the University of Technology to show off with, create an dad that solves a problem through technology. Biggest problem in a desert city like Lima? Water. So here's a billboard that generates drinking water out of thin air!

A few unsuspecting people are suckered into a job interview, where they find that the "Manager of Operations" job is tough. THey have to be on call 24 hours a day. There's no vacation. There's no sleep! And it pays nothing.

Diet Coke - The Slender Vender - (2013) 1:44 (France)

The idea is quite nice, turn the vending machine into a slender pole, reminding people that Diet Coke is the skinny choice. The 1 minute and 44 seconds showing it off is a bit much though, the idea is easily understood it from the first shot.

The Vein "Magma" (2013) 1:30 (U.S.A.)

This is a music video for the Vein but it's also an art piece comissioned by Adobe to highlight their new Creative Suite. It's kinda trippy.

Puma "Dance Dictionary" (2013) 2:45 (U.K.)

Puma "Dance Dictionary" (2013) 2:45 (U.K.)

Puma Fragrances teams up with a bunch of freestylers including PacMan, Storyboard and King Charles, to bring you the Dance Dictionary.

I thought you'd be able to write your own sentence and see if they could translate it-- they should do that as a live activation so it's more participatory beyond just clicking and watching.

The words and sentences have already been chosen and some of them extremely obvious. For instance, the word "heart" is translated by a dancer by making a beating heart shape with their hands.

It's about as fulfilling as watching someone else play Pictionary. But I'm sure the teen crowd will love it.
