Universal Orlando "Best Ever" (2104) :30 (USA)

Don't worry Pops, your kid isn't self-absorbed with her eyes glued to her mobile, ignoring you all the while. She's just busy editing her Universal Orlando Resort's best ever movie in real time.

Hampton Inn "Hamptonality" (2013) :30 (USA)

For this campaign, Mistress followed college football fan influencers as they went to early season games, staying at Hampton Inn, and documenting their travels using the hashtag #Hamptonality.

The thirty second spot is cute. Nice music choice. I notice the instaviners don't feature any vomiting, or nefarious shenanigans though. I thought it was for college football?

I was really interested in following along and getting to know more about these cool kids.

My favorite quote is from Oliviab33, "free hot breakfast and so many yummy options! @hampton!"

Booking.com HAUNTED - The Queen Anne Hotel - (2013)

I'll preface this with: I love Halloween. Always have. Pumpkins, changing leaves, fall decorations & plastic spiders, dry ice smoke, candy and trick-or-treating and dressing like a pirate/vampire/slut I can get behind all of this!. In fact I dress like this most of the year so post-Halloween is my sale-shopping season. One thing I don't love? Getting really really scared. Medium scared is fine by me. Medium scared and candy.

Swedish travel agency sends President Obama a baffling message

Swedish last minute travel agency Ticket wanted to capitalize on President Obama's recent visit to Stockholm, by suggesting it was more important to discuss Edward Snowden with Russian president Vladimir Putin in Moscow. They also posted the same ads in Moscow, directed towards Putin.

If you don't stop to think about this ad for too long it's clever. But if you do think about it for more than a second though it misses the mark. Here's how:

British Airways India "A Ticket to Visit Mum" (2013) 5:21 (USA)

"It's never been just about flying."

What beautiful storytelling. It was hard to to watch without a dry eye at the end.

That is, if you overlook the fact that apparently it's so freaking expensive to fly on British Airways a boy can't afford to fly home to see his mum.

Hub Strategy launches new work for Viator

Viator is an online travel company that pre-screens tours and activities all over the world, so you don't get stuck on a lame-o trip.

San Francisco based Hub Strategy created the print, with the idea being you can feel like an insider rather then just one more tourist clutching a guide book, wearing a big straw hat and too much sun screen on their nose.
