“If a parrot can remember what happens in an abusive home, imagine a child,” the super reads, before giving some stark statistics about violence against children. This ad may seem humorous at the start, but soon the parrots cursing takes a more sinister tone when you realize that they are copying abusive behaviour. This PSA has been released in tandem with Unicef’s new global report on violence against children.
