Not sure what to make of this ad. Does the LG Secret phone allow the user to perform voodoo? Is it the preferred phone of stalkers worldwide? Does the secret actually come with some super-fly ultra-zooming powers that allow for filming the neighbouring girl as she sleeps, and remote control that rips the sheets off her and starts the water sprinklers? All the while playing cheesy porn-esque musak? Really? Because I'd like to set off some cold water sprinklers in the office of the fucks who wrote this shite, and then make them dance to that horrid soundtrack, naked. Dance!

Stella Artois 4% "24 hours to save the world" - (2008) 3:53 (UK)

Mother came to us with a typically low internet budget to create 3 x three minute films for Stella Artois 4%. The campaign had to build on the Riviera chic established for the brand, ooze Gallic charm and look like authentic films of the French cinema of the early sixties.

We shot the films in an old, faded seaside resort in Uruguay, which we turned into an "authentic" looking 1960 French Riviera.

Mother's CD Augusto Sousa was full of praise for the art department:
"Everything looks very real because all those things used on the films were genuinely from the '60's"

Transparent and Mother London send film culture classics back to the 60's . :" The brief was very clear: The films had to have a strong cinematic look, which would appeal to film buffs, the wider public and those who have come to expect something special from Stella Artois."

Not a problem when there's a budget available, but an enormous challenge when there is very little to draw on. Nevertheless, Mother's enthusiasm was infectious and we fell in love with the project.

Lowe Rivet, Sydney has created a website, at www.lynxantisoapsquad.com, which features this 2 minute web film showing the squad in action.
ECD Dave Johnson said: “Positioning soap use as a crime and creating an impossibly hot squad of Lynx girls, hell bent on zero tolerance enforcement is frankly a ludicrous idea, but one that’s perfectly pitched to really engage guys at all the various touch points, and ultimately drive trial. Added to that, the ‘wall of shame’ for guys to dob in their mates really extends and deepens their participation in the idea and the brand.”

1 part "cops", 1 part "Charlies Angels", a dash of 70s porn movie = god please give us a new strategy for Lynx/Axe this is getting really tedious.

Pot Noodle spoofs the outrageously expensive Guinness Tipping Point commercial, with a low budget and the dominos started by a startled man in a pub. Web ad.
Ad agency: AKQA
Allan Little, Brand Development Manager for Pot Noodle, said: “The community loved the idea and couldn’t wait to get involved, which was brilliant. Everyone knows that Pot Noodle is a brand that delivers superb communication, and this film continues that proud tradition. The Guinness ad is good, but I knew that by bringing it closer to home we could go one better. Their dominos only went downhill – we’ve got some that go up steps!”

James Hilton, Executive Creative Director at AKQA, said: “Pot Noodle has always been about making you laugh and not taking life too seriously. The original spot stimulated a lot of pub talk amongst the lads who love Pot Noodle, and with St Patrick’s Day coming up, the opportunity to have some fun with that and keep people talking was just too good to miss.”
