CinemaxX - MAXXIMUM SOUND - (2011) 1:09 (Germany)

CinemaxX - MAXXIMUM SOUND - (2011) 1:09 (Germany)

When you're producing movies there are two themes you dream to work with: Fast cars and massive explosions. CinemaxX wanted everything.

Introducing a new sound system by Meyer Sound to their 30 movie theaters, CinemaxX commissioned the specialists from Schönheitsfarm, Acrobat and White Horse Music to create a spot all the way from concept to execution that makes full use of the new "MAXXIMUM SOUND" experience.

To visualize the crystal clear and highly differentiated sound we turned to a technique very popular in film making and translated it into the acoustic world:

The sun is up, the milk is chilled, it's gonna be a good one, yo yo
Yo I'm rolling in my Massey on a summer's day
Chugging cold milk while I'm bailing hay
Yeo Valley's approach is common sense
Harmony in nature takes precedence

DieHard - DieHard vs Gary Numan

DieHard - DieHard vs Gary Numan

IiiIIiiiIiih! That's my excited scream. Diehard battery and Y&R Chicago powered up 24 cars, lights, a keyboard and added one bad-ass looking Gary Numan to the mix. He promptly plays "Cars". Yum.

Y&R Chicago and DieHard batteries partnered with Zoo Films’ director James Frost, (of OK GO and Radiohead music video fame) and LA technology collective Syyn Labs. Together they created a keyboard made of cars, for Numan to perform, well, we’ll let you guess his choice of song.

Co-op - Seeds / blowin' in the wind Bob Dylan - (2009 ) 2:00 (UK)

This advert, created by McCann Erickson and featuring the Dylan track Blowin' in the Wind made its debut on prime-time Coronation Street telly mid-February. Since then it has appeared on various global websites as well, but, since McCann had no reason to secure global soundtrack it suddenly disappeared from global websites. Youtube versions suddenly had no sound, instead a notice from youtube that "the soundtrack was removed due to rights issues", and McCann's own facebook page has removed the advert all together. What's the deal here, Dylan sells out, but only to a certain geographical region? He didn't seem to have a problem going world wide web when he sold out to Victoria's secret.
