Factory Design Lab - Powder / Power of Orange - (2010) USA
Tool's Jason Zada directed a pair of amusing web films for Factory Design Lab as part of the agency's recent re-branding featuring the new tagline, "Power of Orange." The playful clips, which feature largely slow-motion sequences, symbolically communicate the efficacy of the company's new message by portraying the color orange as a catalyst behind unlikely scenarios.
Powder takes place in a diner that quickly evolves into a bizarre hybrid of a rave party and a neighborhood pub when the patrons begin sniffing lines of a powerful orange powder off of their plates. Businessmen, families, police officers, and an ecstatic young couple all fall into states of elation as the staff continues to serve up mounds of the substance.
Moms Against Climate Change - Kids vs Police / Demonstration - (2009) :30 (Canada)
This PSA is making waves in Canada as part of a new campaign to demand action from Canada’s Prime Minister at the United Nations Climate Change Summit in Copenhagen. I hate to say that kids joining en masse in demonstrations reminds me of the punk-soundtracked ad for KPA Pension stop talking, but there you go, it does. Not surprising that the same thought forms the base-idea for two ads, after all there is an old saying that we only borrow the earth from our children.
Rescue Foods - Fried Green Tomatoes - (2009) :47 (USA)
Help rescue food at:http://www.RescueFood.org
Godaddy / Danica Patrick - Speeding ticket - (2009) 2:00 (USA)
Bored boys rejoice as yet another Danica Patrick "internet only" commercial with gratuitous strip and shirt-button popping heaving bosoms comes around. Two minutes of your life that you'll never get back.
PHILIPS CINEMA 21:9 - Carousel - (2009) 2:19 (The Netherlands)
Created entirely by Stink Digital, this new interactive campaign promotes Philips’ latest entrant into the television market, the CINEMA 21:9. Berg conceived it to work as an endless loop. Visitors to the microsite therefore have the option to ‘spin’ through the film’s single take shot repeatedly, to stop on a specific frame, or to watch it at the preordained speed. The film also contains embedded hotspots, which, when triggered, transport the viewer seamlessly from the heavily posted film to a behind-the-scenes version of the same shot.
California Cheese - From Wisconsin - long (1998) - 0:60 (USA)
Honda - Good Things happen on a Honda - (1974) :60 (USA)
Featuring none other than a young John Travolta as the Honda-riding mailman.
