Burger Kings King picks up Client of the Year award at The One Show

The King of BK dropped by at the One Show awards or, as the release says: “The King,” Burger King’s self-described “creepy” frontman, dropped by Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City on Wednesday evening May 7, 2008, flanked by two smoking hot babes” to pick up the One Show’s “Client of the Year” award.

The fast food chain was recognized for enhancing its brand with some of the most effective creative and collaborative advertisements of the past year, including two exemplary campaigns by Crispin Porter + Bogusky: “WhopperFreakout” and “Simpsons Integrated.” The top honors for “Best in Show” went to McCann Worldgroup SF & T.A.G. for Microsoft’s Halo 3 “Believe” campaign.
