Chiat Gets Artificial Intelligence
Tapping into a new profit center, Chiat Day's futuristic LA office moonlighted this past weekend as a set for the new Spielberg film A.I. (Artificial Intelligence).
As reported by Dark Horizons, props including twenty or so flat-screen monitors were brought in to transform the agency for the sci-fi feature based on a Kubrick script.
Though selection of the agency would seem to confirm an edgy sense of style, on set photos here and here indicate the film's set decorators earned their keep.

So many agencies try to look like anything but.... Churches, Binoculars, even housed in boats I hear. Why not show these offices off - it aint the first time, the commercial-archive.com has an episode of ThirtySomething where they shot the entire scene within Chiat Days Venice offices, a few days before Chiat Day moved in. Ah, now I remember though - this was in the era of loosing major accounts and firering half of New York.. They are just doing it for the money.
Well, Deja News, Did they not just lay off half of New York again? History repeats itself!
