The Edinburgh Film Festival kicks off August 13 with Jonas Åkerlunds (of Madonna video fame) debut feature film "Spun". It stars Jason Schwartman, Brittney Murphy, Mickey Rourke and Mena Suvari.

other highlights include Kazuhisa Takenouchi's anime opera "Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem" set to the tunes of Daft Punk. Get your tickets now, over 100 films with be shown.
