Everything old is new again: back to the eighties!

Previously Claymore took a trip down memory lane and brought us all Fuzzy flashbacks from days of yore - the 80s. - all those lost commercial gems from Saturday mornings so we could reminisce about our wee years.

Well, I hafta try and out-do him, and so I must join in and represent Europe.
So, while every experienced adgrunt know that the best way to wander the archive way-back-when is to stroll through the search navigation to find 80s and 90s award winning ads like these (below) I now bring you the forgotten ads from the 80s and 90s UK that you may remember but that didn't necessarily rake home the awards.

Above, the Guardians points of view, dancing penguins for John Smith, a smashing headache for Nurofen and a strange Japanese ad for Suntory.

So here's the lost ads archive - 80s and 90s UK adverts!

The years might not be spot on, old showreels sent in often didn't have dates attached.
aaaah, the eighties, back when you could actually still do TV adverts for cigars. Those were the days. ;)

Oh bother... You'll have to check the rest without screenshots. ;)

....so, uh, should I keep posting old ads or was it all a big yawn for y'all? ;)

Great stuff! Haven't had time to watch them, but just looking at the titles made me realise how many of those bastards are ingrained in my DNA. Must have watched too much TV in the 80s.
