Occupy George - as in Washington

"Money talks" says OccupyGeorge who are stamping one-dollar bills with simple graphic info-slogans to help circulate the word.

Money talks, but not loud enough for the 99%. By circulating dollar bills stamped with fact-based infographics, Occupy George informs the public of America's daunting economic disparity one bill at a time. Because money knowledge is power.

You can join in the dollar-defacing fun by downloading the templates on the website and marking some bills yourself. Doodling on money isn't a new idea, even real ad agencies have done it. It has returned to its roots now, '...marking dollars bills and putting stickers on coins have been a favored way of getting the word out by students, pro-bono organisations, Adbusters and small guys like Joe's truck rental since.. well, since forever!'. The chosen media is not why I think this is nice. It's the simple, silly. The nicely done site, and the fact that this whole protest is about money so the means of spreading the word about it seems rather obviously should be dollar bills.

Money does talk, and it spreads far - which is why I always liked this idea:
