The fighting with phones commercial is fine as far as responding to a brief where the phones thinness is key, and photos etc are secondary. From the looks of this ad Gondry responded to another brief enterily, where everything had to be mentioned, phone, email, images, music web surfing etc. He said all that in a typical Gondry fashion which is quirky and mesmerising. Seems to me that marketing had once again forgotten to write the brief before ordering the creative. Sucks.
(please does anyone have a non footrube version?)
