Yes, in the end this ad that Work that matters just mailed me makes sense. The ad is from XXXChurch, and Reverend Gross explains why Ron Jeremy is in it: he's a nice guy.

says Ron Jeremy, and this of course is what an old teacher who cares about kids would say - Ron has a masters degree in special education taught special-education classes in the New York city area before becoming a big star. The ad was shot and directed by porn producer Jimmy D. who brought the classic stiff wooden acting of porn to the table. (Sorry)

Like Tom from WTM points out, the strangest thing in this ad is Pete the puppet who keeps facepalming. He's actually called "Pete the Porno Puppet", and in this ad he's the strangest item. Yes, even stranger than the sheep.
